Just regular publishers. Regular service and commenters though 😜
there are a few active jws i know (separate, in different areas) who basically celebrate new years, having a party to watch the ball drop, posting about it on social media, one even saying literally "happy new year" .
but most other jws seem to not want to point out the elephant in the room.
has anybody else seen this, or ever seen it turn judicial?

as all jw's and awakened ex-jw's know, the very existence of the religion is dependent on people's belief that the "holy trinity" of the wtbts, the ccojw, and the governing body (aka the organization) were personally selected by god/christ.. 1) mr. rutherford claimed that this divine choosing occurred circa 1919, and that all anointed members were personally chosen by god/christ to be the faithful slave.
2) in 2013 this long-held, "profound scriptural truth" was discarded by apostates in brooklyn (the present-day governing body) when they personally decided that only gb members were chosen by god/christ to be the faithful slave.

Nitty Gritty:
Comparing JWs to 'leaving a club' is a weak comparison and you know it. A club won't slander you to your friends and family, preventing them from speaking to you on threat of death. Haven't you read that 2009 WT magazine that said 'no one should be forced to choose between beliefs and family'? Also, what are you doing here speaking to apostates, directly defying the GB's order to all good JWs? You're obviously having doubts and are on your way out, but fighting it. I understand, I was there.
got a good joke or two?
why not share them.
here is a fun one.. retirement can be fun.
What did David Splane say when he saw Satan?
Oh my God!!
well, it looks like the axe has finally fallen on our kh library.
during a deep clean of the local kh, a brother suddenly informed everyone 'whikst cleaning' that all the old books including bound volumes of the watchtower etc was to be chucked in the skip.. from what i heard, some were taken aback by this and quite annoyed that no announcement was made; that no one was given the choice of taking some of these books home to keep.
i mean the entire collection of studies in the scriptures and others that go back an entire century.
It just happened at my Hall within the last few months. No announcement. Dozens of books just gone one day.
does anyone remember the video the jw came out with that showed the mom getting a phone call from her disfellowshipped daughter?
she is tempted to answer but doesn't .
she wants to be faithful to jehovah.
dennis was offered £5 by cool kids smoking pot and fornicating.
he turned it down and went to read the wt as he turned the page.
what did he see?a £5 note.
he saw two burly guys standing beside her
This has been told and retold by many, not just JWs. The details of course always change.
i just got so angry coming across this quote from the wt, shortly after raymond franz was disfellowshipped:.
one who has been a true christian might renounce the way of the truth, stating that he no longer considers himself to be one of jehovah’s witnesses or wants to be known as one.
when this rare event occurs, the person is renouncing his standing as a christian.
Never said I was surprised, just angered by the blatant simplicity of their statement, especially in the context of what was happening at the time.
after doing some critical research upon the watchtower corporation and its activity as a religious publishing house one can clearly see this is a commercialized false prophet run by sinning apostate men.. so the question remains why are people adhering and supporting this organization thinking they are going to gain salvation come judgment day by jesus ?.
jesus laid out instructions in how to identify false prophets, maybe he should have elaborated and said something about false prophets who would sell his gospel for profit.
this relates to more than the men who ran the wts.
Amen.
maybe he should have elaborated and said something about false Prophets who would sell his gospel for profit

What right do they have? Their arrogance knows no bounds! This is blatant sacrilege, stepping in the place of God (as usual) and saying who is and isn't a Christian weather they identify/live/believe that way or not! Just had to post this to get it off my chest.
